My Credentials
I’m an E3A Certified Level One Equine Assisted Learning and Personal Development Facilitator with a Sociology/Psychology degree from Virginia Tech. After 16 years in real estate, I walked away to follow my horses — and I’ve never looked back.
Who I Am
I’m a proud Mom of two sons and a daughter. Also I am a very blessed Mammi of five wonderful grandloves. I am a lifelong horsewoman, over 50 years owning a few horses during that time. My current horse, a handsome red Paint Quarter Pony, MoonPie, isn’t just my adventure buddy for the last 9 years — he is my partner in my coaching business as the intuitive Equine Professor.
My Story
Horses found me early. Through difficult teenage years, when life felt heavy, the barn became my sanctuary. Something about their calm eye and quiet presence made everything easier to carry.
That never changed. Through marriage, raising three kids, divorce, career, breast cancer, and aging — horses have been my constant. Always bringing me back to what matters.
That’s why I do this work.
Horses have a gift — and I’ve spent my life experiencing it firsthand. As an Equine Assisted Learning and Personal Development Facilitator, I’m here to help you access that same calm wisdom and presence that has guided me through everything life has thrown my way.
