I am often asked why horses make such a difference in learning? Partnering with them results in boosting our self-awareness, enhancing relationships, leadership skills and work performance. Horses have the unique capability of always living in the moment. They don’t stress about what happened yesterday or what could happen tomorrow. Being prey animals, they decide right now, what is effective and what is not, to survive. As we are predators, we very rarely live in the moment which can lead to internal conflict and affect our peace of mind and productivity. Through my fun and insightful learning activities with my equine professors, you will learn from reading their body language and also your own, what is necessary to help you succeed, improving not only your self-awareness, but how to enhance your relationships with others. In my group activities, you experience relating without words and finding your strengths by working through your difficulties and achieving your goals together with the horses as your guide. It is known as experiential learning or learning through experience, which is more profound with better outcomes. No previous horse experience or riding is required for these activities. You will love this unique education with a horsey twist.
